Tu B’Shevat: A Celebration Of Trees in the Surrey Hills with NWSS

Over 70 members of NWSS pulled on their walking boots early last Sunday morning and met together at the top of Box Hill in the beautiful Surrey Hills, ready to celebrate Tu B’Shevat!
Led by Rabbi Kath, the community spent the morning completing a series of fabulous nature-inspired challenges, with teams earning points for each successfully completed mission. Challenges ranged from creating forest artwork and nature haikus, to finding prayers and poems to read aloud together, to spending time silently listening to the sounds of the forest.
The wonderful mix of generations present added to the warmth of the community coming together, making this a really special morning.
Chag Sameach to all from NWSS
