SWESRS Founders’ Tea

On 11 September there was an afternoon tea for founder members and children of founder members of SWESRS – South West Essex and Settlement Reform Synagogue .

The community is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary.

People present were all extremely positive, noting how friendly the shul was and continues to be, how from small beginnings of like-minded people they met in each other in homes and slowly found first premises they could use the then had a dedicated synagogue of their own.
