Southend & District Reform Synagogue recently held a food collection morning in support of a local foodbank charity.
Council member Mike Royston, said: “The food donations given by our shul members will be distributed as food parcels by the town’s local food bank to people in crisis in the local community. The foodbank which provides a vital service for people in need, is reliant on donations. Collection of food donations at our shul is ongoing, and gratefully received.
