Save the date! Mental Health Awareness Shabbat – 31 January and 1 February 2020

Reform Judaism’s Communities that Care Initiative is working closely with JAMI to develop our communities as places of wellbeing and inclusion. The aim of Jami’s Mental Health Awareness Shabbat is to raise the profile of mental health in the Jewish community and to give each community a focal point for mental health and wellbeing activities. It is an opportunity to encourage people of all ages to be more in touch with their own mental health and wellbeing.

The first Mental Health Awareness Shabbat in 2017 saw over 80 synagogues, organisations, student and youth groups from across the whole Jewish community taking part. This rose to over 120 in 2019, with many Reform communities participating in exciting and innovative ways. Together, let’s make 2020 even bigger!

Register today so that you and your community can get involved by visiting the JAMI website and if you would like to discuss your ideas or any support please contact sharon.daniels@rsy-netzer.org.uk.
