We are looking for energetic people to head up our kitchens to lead on the delivery of meals to our participants on our various residential camps across the UK this summer. Your experience of youth movements and residential camps is a re-requisite.
The role of Rosh Mitbach involves running the kitchen on Shemesh, plus working with and supporting the madrichimot in consistently delivering exciting meals of high nutritional value and appropriate quantities. The role is to encourage the personal development of madrichimot by sharing skills, knowledge and utilising feedback and processing methods. The role requires patience and understanding in order to empower madrichimot to deliver high quality meals on camp under the guidance of Rosh Mitbach.
Our camps are strictly vegetarian and you will be responsible for ensuring high quality varied menus that our participants enjoy.
As part of this role you will also be responsible for health, safety and safeguarding with regards to the kitchen on camp including any additional regulations due to Covid-19. A food hygiene certificate is required but we will support your on-line training prior to camp if required.
There will be long hours and the role is demanding, but it is also very rewarding and you will gain a wide range of valuable experiences.
You will be provided with free accommodation and food whilst on camp.
This position is working closely with children and is therefore subject to DBS clearance.
