Reform members recognised in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours

Reform Judaism congratulates our community members recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Tim Angel of West London Synagogue and chairman of Angels Costumes is made a CBE for services to theatre, film, television and the arts.

Dr Pauline Jeffree of Bromley Reform Synagogue has been awarded a British Empire Medal for services to the community in Beckenham.

Walter Kammerling of Bournemouth Reform Synagogue as been awarded British Empire Medal for educating 100,000 schoolchildren about the Holocaust. Walter, 95, was born in Vienna and arrived in the United Kingdom on the Kindertransport at the age of 15 following Kristallnacht.
