Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner on the San Diego synagogue shooting

I am horrified by another synagogue shooting in the United States and all those affected are in my prayers. But prayers alone are not enough. It is not possible to see this attack – and other recent atrocities – as an isolated event; it is part of a wider hateful ideology that we must come together to combat in all its forms. And for every attack, we’ll respond by living with our neighbours in even more joyful relationships to strengthen our country and our communities.
