Rabbi Kathleen Middleton represents MRJ at the centenary celebration of The British Jewry Book of Honour.

Rabbi Kathleen Middleton, co-Chair of the Assembly of Reform Rabbis and Cantors represented MRJ at the centenary celebration of The British Jewry Book of Honour. It lists 50,000 Jewish servicemen and women of whom 2,000 died in World War One. Many are commemorated at Willesden Cemetery in north west London.

“It was a real honour to represent MRJ,” Rabbi Kathleen said. “The historical relevance of this exceptional record can’t be underestimated. It was very moving to hear how some of the stories encapsulated in those pages still reverberate into our own generation.”
