Rabbi Kate Briggs’ Glasgow induction

The induction service of Rabbi Kate Briggs was held on Sunday 2 November at Glasgow Reform Synagogue. The service was attended by representatives of faith groups in Glasgow, politicians and members the orthodox congregation. Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner conducted the induction and Rabbi Sybil Sheridan and Rabbi Jackie Tabick led the service. MRJ Chair Robert Weiner and Rabbi Sylvia Rothschild also attended.

Rabbi Briggs said: “It was a truly memorable day, not only because the synagogue was full with congregants, other faith leaders, politicians and rabbis, but because of the warmth and vitality that was generated and felt by all who attended. It was a truly positive start to what I hope will be a fruitful partnership between myself and Glasgow Reform Synagogue.”
