Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain on faith and assisted dying
Rabbi Dr Jonathn Romain of Maidenhead Synagogue writes in The Independent saying that Desmond Tutu’s testimony proves that you can be ‘religious’ and support assisted dying. There are many of faith, including clergy, he argues, who value life just as much, but who see no sanctity in suffering and nothing holy about agony.
