Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain on anti-Semitism
Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain of Maidenhead Synagogue appeared on a number of BBC local radio stations discussing the Anti-Defamation League’s Global Anti-Semitism Index
He suggests that anti-semitism is not just a problem for Jews, but for non-Jews too; the level of anti-Semitism (and the way minorities in general are treated) is a barometer of the moral health of a country while those who attack Jews usually go on to attack others too so eradicating anti-Semitism should be a shared responsibility.
