Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers pauses for thought
Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers appeared on today’s Vanessa Feltz programme reflecting on the horrific events in Norway and how we can take time to appreciate those around us.
Listen again via the BBC iPlayer. The Pause for Thought piece can be heard 45 minutes into the programme.
Rabbi Debbie has also written on the news from Norway in her blog.
She notes that: ‘the sadness is that the world is still imperfect and these horrors are still committed by us against each other. All those killed had the potential to do so much and be so much, and that potential is now lost to the world. We must all do more. Meanwhile my thoughts and prayers are with those mourning their loved ones, all over the world, but particularly in Norway, as a result of in/human violence. ‘
