Reform Judaism and organ donation

Reform Judaism and the Assembly of Rabbis and Cantors are fully in support of organ donation. It is a good thing; a generous thing and a mitzvah. To find out more about how you can register as a donor, visit the NHS organ donation website.

Reform rabbis reflect on presumed consent here: Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain supports the system of presumed consent and Rabbi Sylvia Rothschild is opposed to it.

Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner writes on presumed consent in the Jewish news and Rabbi Dr Jonathan Romain in the Huffington Post.

Rabbi Sylvia Rothschild writes on the wider question of organ donation in the Jewish News.
