Metiv – Peace of Mind

“Israelis sometimes feel that it’s us against the whole world.
Here we have seen that we are not alone.
You have opened your homes, and your heart to us. Thank you “

Wimbledon Synagogue Israel Committee and the South London Israel Forum joined together to create the first cross communal ‘Metiv Peace of Mind Group’ – alongside over forty others previously hosted in the UK. This collaboration involved families from two Reform synagogues and Chabad hosting guests, and Richmond United Synagogue and others providing financial support. It is no surprise that this incredible initiative has become the talk of the town, and in the words of testimony from one of their guests – “Being Jewish in Israel is not the same as being Jewish out of Israel. You have shown us how you have to build a community with your own hands and your own involvement out of Israel.”
