Tea, cake, and scones with cream and jam were the order of the day at Menorah Reform Synagogue in Manchester as they opened the doors for their ‘New Members’ Tea Party’.
Menorah has enjoyed a surge in interest over the last 12 months, welcoming 40 new members to increase their overall community to almost 900.
The annual tea party is hugely popular annual in the Menorah calendar and this year attendees ranges from the ages of three to 91!
Laura Cohen, Chair of Menorah, said: “It’s lovely to get to know some of our new members across the generations at this special tea.
“It helps new members meet the team who run our social, educational, and religious activities -and it’s a real opportunity to start to explore where they and their families can get involved.”
