Leo Baeck College ordains four new Rabbis
Leo Baeck College’s class of 2020 were ordained on Wednesday 29th July, with four new Rabbis ready to serve Reform and Liberal communities around the country.
Despite not being able to share the occasion with friends and family as they would have hoped, the ordination was able to go ahead in an intimate and beautiful ceremony at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue.
Rabbi Mati Kirschenbaum is starting as the Rabbi at Bromley Reform Synagogue. Rabbi Deborah Blausten will be joining the clergy team at Finchley Reform Synagogue. Rabbi Elliott Karstadt will join the clergy team at Alyth Synagogue. Rabbi Anna Posner will serve Progressive students as Student Chaplain and working with the Beit Klal Yisrael community.
Mazal Tov to each of them and best wishes from Reform Judaism as they each start out their careers as fully-fledged Rabbis.
