It’s good to talk: Reform Judaism introduces Mental Health Advocates
Reform Judaism is excited to introduce a team of Mental Health Advocates to get young people talking about mental health and wellbeing. Advocates run informal, creative, bespoke sessions on a variety of mental health-related topics, with Jewish perspectives. Their aims are to:
• Facilitate conversations to reduce stigma
• Raise awareness and educate
• Empower young people
• Promote self-care and peer support
• Signpost people when professional support is needed
• Produce resources for educators to continue conversations
Sessions are free to Reform communities.
