Focus on story telling at Early Years Inset Day
On Monday 30 October Reform Judaism held its annual Early Years Inset Day at Sha’arei Tsedek North London Reform Synagogue. Over 60 nursery teachers and synagogue staff and volunteers came together to expand their story telling skills with world renowned storyteller Shonaleigh Cumbers, as well as a host of smaller workshops with literacy, storytelling and using technology at their heart.
Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers, Community Educator at Reform Judaism who organised the day said: “Our nurseries are rated as outstanding by Ofsted and it is so exciting to see the passion and energy our early years professionals and volunteers put into ensuring their skills stay sharp and they learn new things to put back into our very young members”.
