The Together Plan Charity in partnership with Edgware and Hendon Reform Synagogue held a Belarusian Cultural Evening complete with Belarusian vodka, herring and blackbread, attended by over 80 people.

The event was a journey through the rich history, culture and traditions of Belarus and 120 years of Jewish life from pre-revolution through the Holocaust and Communism, bringing participants to modern day Belarus showing how The Together Plan is helping to revive Jewish life in the former Soviet Union.

This fascinating interactive revue was conceived and written by members of The Together Plan’s Youth for Youth Project: Jonathan Clingman, Sonia Richardson and Jake Goldman with production support from Sam Behrens, Jack Baum, Sam Brunner and Sophie Teff.
