Part of Israel at 70: Conversations on Progressive Israel
Rabbi Mazor is the Rabbi of the Leo Baeck Haifa Elementary school, teaches Jewish Studies in the high school, and is head of the Centre’s UK relations desk. Their guiding principle that all of Israel’s citizens are entitled to equal rights and opportunities. They focus on sharing experiences and loving our neighbours regardless of their religion, mother tongue, race, or cultural background.
Venue: Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue and Zoom. This conversation will be followed by an offline Q&A.
Israel at 70: Conversations on Progressive Israel will see speakers from varied fields and institutions sharing perspectives and stories about Progressive life in Israel, 70 years in, leading up to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel in April.
The initiative is co-funded by Reform Judaism, Liberal Judaism, Arzenu UK, The Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism, Friends of Progressive Judaism and Friends of Leo Baeck Education Center, Haifa.
It is an exciting opportunity for people to tune in individually or with their community. Whether one attends all the sessions or just one, they will find something compelling and interesting to engage with. All sessions feature both video and call facilities allowing people to listen in remotely.
Q&A will also happen on all sessions. Some will happen only over online Zoom Webinars whilst some will be streamed live with additional offline discussion at the venue.
Register for the conversations on Zoom using the ID: 657-138-724. If you have any questions or need assistance email Carrie Shaw Israel Desk for Progressive Judaism and Alliance for Progressive Judaism Coordinator: israeldesk@apjuk.org.
