Many of you have asked for help in understanding the Jewish Nation State Bill passed by the Knesset in July of this year. Areas of Israeli society, and of the Diaspora, have been thrown into confusion, forcing us to rethink how a shared society, and equality for non-Jewish citizens of Israel, will be achieved. In response, we are providing another in our Open Space series of events, an opportunity to ask hard questions and get answers in plain language in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
We give the warmest of welcome back to our good friends, Ron Gerlitz and Rawnak Natour, joint Directors of SIKKUY (a Jewish/Arab organisation in Israel, dedicated to a shared civic society).
Join us for an informal and informative evening, and bring your questions, or, if you prefer, submit them in advance to eretz@wls.org.uk.
Additional guest speakers to be confirmed.
Free entry but donations towards cost are warmly invited. Please register in advance with Kathryn on 020 7535 0259 or email kathryn.forro@wls.org.uk.
