Director of Informal Education

Our Youth Department:

  • Is home to RSY-Netzer, our peer led youth movement, providing a variety of informal education opportunities and events to those aged 10 – 22+ years
  • Provides support to students via Progressive Jewish Students
  • Is one of the leading Jewish Youth Movements in the United Kingdom
  • Provides the highest standards of informal education training and safeguarding to our leaders
  • Work with students and youth within our communities

You are:

  • A strategic, inspirational leader and educator who can take us forward to the next level
  • Professional with a determined passion to support and lead our Youth department
  • Ability to oversee a large budget (c£1.5m+)
  • Able to support and mentor young people in their first jobs
  • A collaborative worker who can bring fresh ideas that attract and retain young people
  • Able to identify potential risks and rewards that are vital for continued growth and success
  • Flexible in approach and able to travel and work evenings and weekends when required
