Care for the Elderly seminar at Manchester Reform Synagogue

Manchester Reform Synagogue members got together on Sunday 26 April to discuss experiences relating to the care of elderly relatives, and to hear from experts in a ‘Care for the Elderly’ seminar.

Members were joined by Avrom Baker, Care Manager from the Nicky Alliance Centre and Lee Bloomfield, Chief Executive at Leeds Jewish Housing Association in a discussion group chaired by Executive and Council member, Sherry Ashworth. The session explored the issues associated with providing care and support for elderly family members and discussed some of the solutions available in the community.
