Book Keeper – Reform Judaism

Full Time (5 days/33½ hours or Part Time (4 days/28 hours)

Reform Judaism are looking for flexible and proactive team player to work in our finance department.  Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of data required to produce regular management accounts.

You will also be required to produce accounts to trial balance (monthly), ensuring accuracy and a reliable audit trail as well as processing the payroll for six organisations. Previous experience of working for multiple organisations is an advantage.

Annually you will be responsible for supporting the year-end process for 4 organisations ensuring all documents and records are appropriately and logically filed.

A competent Excel user you must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, able meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritise with minimum supervision.  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), together with the ability to develop sound business relationships is paramount.

You will need a minimum of 4 years previous experience and able to demonstrate a stable work record.
