Anna Dyson
Born and raised in the Reform heartland of Finchley Anna grew up immersed in the Reform Jewish communities of FRS and, when she was old enough, RSY-Netzer.
After flying the nest to university in Manchester, then finding a home in Leeds, Anna has been passionate about building community and tikkun olam. Serving RSY-Netzer for two years as Northen Fieldworker (2001-3), MRJ as Youth and Community Development Worker (2003-4) and the same role for Sinai Synagogue (2004-8), Anna has flown the nest again and sought to put all the skills learned within Reform Jewish community into a ‘ super diverse’ area of Leeds, Harehills. ToastLoveCoffee is a Community Interest Company, set up in 2014 to set about creating community and building links with people from all sorts of backgrounds, through the means of a community cafe. You can read all about it via the online diary www.toastlovecoffee.wordpress.com (scroll to the beginning to read it in the right order!!).
