A great summer for EDRS
Edgware & District Reform Synagogue’s Kaytana and Kadima summer camps were once again a huge success with over 120 children attending the three weeks. With a fantastic Ofsted inspection, original programming, exciting day trips, specialist workshops and a dynamic team behind it, families are already asking about summer 2016!
Emma Senitt, EDRS’ Director of Youth said “The ruach (spirit) throughout the whole of Kaytana and Kadima was amazing you could literally feel it as you entered the room. This is down to our fantastic team of home-grown staff who want to give the participants the experiences they got from EDRS when they were young. Ofsted were highly impressed with our staff, their enthusiasm, energy and ideas for the children involved, educating them whilst having fun. The children gain so much from Kaytana and Kadima and it can be seen clearly every day they come in. Their faces make our job worthwhile”
Some parents said:
“What an amazing group of leaders you all are. The boys are so happy coming and making new friends”
“Well done on the well deserved positive inspection. You guys are great and my kids love coming every time. They’re looking forward to the same again tomorrow, and the next day…”
“Thank you all for a great week. The kids had a wonderful time. They said it was the best camp they had been to and can’t wait until Monday”
“Thank you so much for a wonderful two weeks! They had the best time and I am SO grateful to you and all your wonderful leaders!
