As we reach the end of our 80th Anniversary year, The Reform Movement is delighted to share with you and your family a short supplementary booklet for Channukah. By dedicating one candle to each decade of our journey we are remembering and celebrating the major milestones that highlight the impact the Movement has had in shaping Progressive Jewish life in the UK. There are many ways that your donation can make a difference and below are some examples how:
- £50 sponsors a participant from a small community attending our annual Communities that Cares Conference.
- £200 covers 50% of the cost we invest in one young leader at RSY-Netzer Hadracha (leadership) training
- £350 allows us to waive the conversion fee for a Beit Din candidate who may otherwise not be able to convert.
- £500 enables D/deaf members to fully access a service through a British Sign Language interpreter.
We hope you will find the booklet an enjoyable complement to your Channukah celebrations, it includes the traditional prayers and blessings so can be used on its own. This is a celebratory, family friendly booklet, that tells our story to all ages in a short but informative way, each story is accompanied with a creative blessing written by a Reform Rabbi.
