Youth leaders show our ‘very bright future’ at RSY-Netzer’s Mega Chalutz

RSY-Netzer’s Mega Chalutz leadership seminar was a huge success – with more than 80 young leaders attending.

The annual event, which takes place in the lead up to the Shemesh summer camp, is a chance for the youth leaders to spend time together and receive training from the RSY tzevet (team) and external educators.

They now await the arrival of hundreds more young people when Shemesh starts tomorrow.

Rabbi Josh Levy – the Co-Lead of Progressive Judaism and CEO of the Movement for Reform Judaism – spent the weekend at Mega Chalutz.

He said: “It was great to spend time with so many proud and passionate young Progressive Jews – who will not only deliver a fantastic summer camp but ensure a very bright future for our movement and our Judaism.”
