Reform Shuls Battle in Big Green Jewish Competiton
Two Reform communities are hoping to win £2000 in the Big Green Jewish competition. Alyth (North Western Reform Synagogue) and Finchley Reform Synagogue have both entered projects in the contest which aims to support innovative approaches in the Jewish community to reducing carbon emissions and raising environmental engagement.
You can vote for your favourite at the Big Green Jewish website. Alyth's project is called 'How (Golders) Green are you Alyth?'and Finchley Reform's is 'Funding a Sustainable Energy Transformation of the Jewish Community'.Voting closes on Sunday 17th April.
Good luck to both projects and may the best synagogue win!
