Yom HaShoah or Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Yom HaShoah, also known as Holocaust Memorial Day, occurs on the 27th of Nissan in the Jewish calendar. “Shoah”, which means catastrophe or utter destruction in Hebrew, refers to the atrocities that were committed against the Jewish people during World War II. This is a memorial day for those who died in the Shoah.

It is quite separate from the British National Holocaust Memorial Day in January which marks a commemoration of all acts of violence against groups of ethnic or religious identity.
