A leader in the form of a Principal Rabbi with vision and energy is needed in Whetstone, North London, to guide our community through this next, hugely important phase of its life.
Established in 1961, our community of over 900 individuals provides a broad range of activities for people of all ages and stages, including our ‘outstanding’ Alonim kindergarten. As a leading London Reform community, we are fiercely committed to and strongly invested in inclusivity, equality and diversity.
In partnership with rabbinic, lay and professional colleagues, our new Principal Rabbi will shoulder responsibility for the community’s long term spiritual and religious health and wellbeing. They will inspire and lead the way for a new generation of engaged and committed members; enthusing and enabling them in identifying new ways of expressing and experiencing a Reform Jewish way of life, in a community where members are enabled to give and grow, learn and travel through life together.
Applicants are welcome at any stage of their rabbinical career. Applications will be considered on either a part-time (preferably minimum 0.75FTE) or full-time basis.
