siddurlaunch1Rabbi Professor Jonathan Magonet is the Editor of our new Siddur, published this month. Now nearing the end of an 8 year long process, Rabbi Magonet has penned a series of short 'jottings' relating to different aspects of this groundbreaking publication.

Picture shows Rabbi Magonet presenting the first copies of the new siddur to Rabbi Dr. Tony Bayfield, Head of the Movement.

100 Following the recent publication of the Jewish Chronicle’s list of the 100 people who “exert the greatest influence on British Jewry”, the Reform Movement can rest assured its interests are being served at the highest levels, with six Reform members in the top sixteen and seventeen in the list as a whole.

laurenCongratulations to Lauren Rich who has recently been named one of hospital radio's top presenters. Lauren, who works in the Movement's fundraising department, won the silver award in the Female Presenter of the Year category at the National Hospital Radio Awards, organised by the Hospital Broadcasting Association.

yasgbfocusA photograph was taken 60 years ago in May 1948 of 71 young men and women participating in a Shavuot residential weekend at Hawkeshead in the very early days of the Youth Association of the Synagogues in Great Britain (YASGB) which today we know as RSY Netzer.
