Editions will be produced for RSY-Netzer and Jeneration. RSY-Netzer will use their version on Shemesh and all other events. A copy will also be given out to all this summers’ Madrichim as a present. In future years a copy of the Siddur will be given to the graduates of Course Hadracha as they begin their life as an RSY-Netzer Madrich. The Jeneration branded compacts will be used in universities across the country. A copy will be sent to as many Reform students as possible and they will also be sent to Hillel houses so that the Progressive Societies can use them when running services.
Sylvia, Karen's mother (pictured right) writes: "The Karen Morris Memorial Trust was set up with two objectives: to provide facilities for leukaemia patients and their families which is not provided by the NHS and which can alleviate their emotional and physical pain just a little, and something to reflect Karen's deep love of Judaism, so clearly seen in her work as an RSY youth leader. I am delighted that we have now been able to fulfil the second criterion by funding the compact edition of the Reform Movement's new siddur and all editions will include a revealing piece by Karen on 'The Miracle of Death', thus ensuring that Karen's memory and legacy live on for future generations." To order your copy, please contact your synagogue office. The Siddur is also available to people who are not members of synagogues.
