Rabbi Michael Boyden was guest speaker at the event which featured the children’s choirs from progressive Jewish schools. Head of the Reform Movement, Rabbi Dr. Tony Bayfield spoke and made a blessing for Israel which can be read here. As you can see from this selection of photographs, a number of our communities' members and rabbis were also involved in marking this siginificant anniversary.
The Embassy of Israel was represented by Deputy Head of Mission, Talia Lador-Fresher, who is pictured below with Rabbi Bayfield.
