President Shimon Peres called for a more inclusive definition of Judaism when he met with Reform Movement leaders at his Jerusalem residence on Thursday.
The delegation - Movement head Rabbi Dr. Tony Bayfield, its chair, Michael Grabiner, and treasurer Stephen Moss, CBE, - are in Israel to develop the Movement's engagement with the Jewish State as it celebrates its 60th anniversary. As part of its continuing coverage of the visit Haaretz published this article. Another piece, also in Haaretz gives the background to the visit.
