Lauren has been volunteering at Northwick Park hospital for the past eight years and says that the voluntary aspect is important to her: "It's great fun to do but I also feel that I might be making a difference to people going through very difficult times". On receiving her award she said "I never thought I'd make it this far. I'm pleased to get silver but am determined to go for gold next year!" Lauren is also a singer-songwriter and organised the succesful Light My Fire live music event for Chanukah last year which she plans to repeat on a larger scale in 2008. Please be in touch if you'd like to know more details.Trackback(0)
