Are you qualified to teach Hebrew and passionate about supporting and encouraging B’nei mitzvah students during the year leading up to their Bar/Bat mitzvah?
SWESRS (South West Essex and Settlement Reform Synagogue) are looking for someone with proven Jewish educational experience who can engage and support young people preparing for this special life-cycle event.
You will have excellent communication skills, be innovative and personable in a way which engages young people in their work. Teaching will be on a 1:1 basis and will take place either in person at the synagogue after school or by Skype/WhatsApp or similar app.
Each session will last half hour, it is envisaged that there will around 2 to 3 hours per week (depending on current demand), during term time (i.e. 33 weeks).
Salary depends on experience.
