We are pleased to offer this exciting training to help our communities ensure best safeguarding practices for both adults and youth. We will be discussing policy development and safeguarding strategy.
Upcoming Training Sessions
Designated Safeguarding Leads 10th September 2024, 7-9pm
(This training is for DSL’s, but doesn’t replace full DSL Training, which should be undertaken with your local authority or other appropriate organisation. Level 2 safeguarding training is a prerequisite of this course; please email Debs to access a free online training course if you have not already completed this)
Trustee Training Thursday 24th October 7-9pm FULL
Safeguarding is Everyone’s Responsibility and every single person who comes into contact with children, families and vulnerable adults has a role to play. Furthermore the Charity Commission states that safeguarding is the responsibility of all trustees. This 2 hour session will help and support trustees to understand their obligations.
