kmmtSunday 21st September: A Sponsored Walk for Karen. Unsure about running a marathon but not afraid of a long walk?  Then join KMMT supporters on a sponsored walk around London.  The complete route, the Jubilee Walkway, is 14 miles long and takes in many of London's leading attractions but there will be a shorter walk of about 5 miles.

For further information about the Walk in particular or the KMMT in general, please contact Sylvia Morris at info@kmmt.org.uk or 020 8445 3380

The Karen Morris Memorial Trust was set up to continue the initiative of a very popular RSY youth worker and leader of Israel Tour 1996 who passed away in September 1998 after a one year's battle with chronic myeloid leukaemia.  To date the KMMT has raised over £900,000 and is funding Karen's Home from Home for leukaemia patients and their families at Hammersmith Hospital, with a second home scheduled to open at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham in 2010 where the Trust is currently funding a support counsellor and a complementary therapist.  The KMMT is also funding complementary therapists at the Royal Free Hospital in London.  It is also delighted to be funding the compact edition of the Reform Movement's new prayerbook, thus ensuring that Karen's love of her Judaism continues to impact on today's and future young people.
