DONATE NOW TO THE MOVEMENT FOR REFORM JUDAISM

2020 VISION

For over 60 years, The Movement for Reform Judaism, previously known as The Reform Synagogues of Great Britain, has supported young people, their families and their synagogues.

The Jewish community has declined from 400,000 to 267,000 in the last fifty years.  It’s a community which is still decreasing by 1% a year, which is ageing and in which as many as 1/3 of the community are not affiliated to any synagogue. Amongst the 18-35 age group, the rate of non-affiliation exceeds 50% and less than half of this age group will marry another Jew.

Our 2020 Vision has been created to highlight the priority of working with our members and prospective members to help them meet their deepest Jewish needs and encourage them to deepen their Jewish identity and find meaning and purpose to their lives.
