Apparently there is a new Rabbi at the Reform synagogue in Church Road in Liverpool. Have you tried there? I believe it is welcoming to converts.

I've been doing a lot of research on the internet to answer my questions and I've picked up a few ideas on reading material but my biggest issue is trying to find a Rabbi in my area (North Yorkshire)to arrange to talk to. I'm a little nervous about calling and any advice would be very welcome!

There is a synagogue based in Leeds. I don't know how far that is from where you live, but I would suggest you give the rabbi (Ian Morris) a call (0113 266 5256)Website:

I'm new to the Forum therefore I'd like to say Hello to everyone!
Following your discussion I'm also one of the potential proselytes willing to do so after deep consideration and years of my personal research.
I'm based in Leeds and have recently contacted Rabbi Morris but no reply so far.I know I'm probably a bit anxious but cannot help!It's such a delicate and sensitive matter...
What do you think?How long shall I wait before turning to someone else?Being totally honest never heard about any other Reform Synagogue in Leeds exept Sinai.
