Communities reconnect under the Cornish sun

Members of the Totnes Jewish Community and Truro-based Kehillat Kernow marked the summer sunshine with a joint picnic at Trenderway Farm in Polperro, to celebrate their friendship and shared heritage.

Set against the rolling green of the Cornish countryside, it was more than just good food and conversation. Totnes Jewish Community Facilitator Marc Frank said: “We enjoyed such a warm-hearted afternoon of kinship and community spirit together, revisiting old friends and making new ones. It felt like such a precious opportunity for our small communities to come together and share in this way”

As Kehillat Kernow and Totnes declared their intention to grow their connection, the gathering stands as a testament to the power of friendship and community in continuing to unite us throughout these current times.
