Human rights at heart of Alyth, FRS and Makor Hayim Shavuot

Shavuot with Alyth, Finchley Reform Synagogue and Makor Hayim was a gift for all present, made especially meaningful by the presence of Rabbi Dahlia Shaham (pictured with guitar) from Rabbis for Human Rights.

Sessions, all based around what was heard at Sinai, allowed for creativity, reflection, study and prayer.

FRS Senior Clergy Cantor Zöe Jacobs said: “Dahlia’s compassion, warmth, and thoughtfulness impacted all three communities, who continued to study throughout the night, before we sang ourselves back down the mountain.”
